The Rayin Food Company was established in 2009 by Mr S. W. Gunasekara as Rayin Rice Mills. The company started its first journey by introducing high-quality raw white rice into the market in 2009. Within a short period, Rayin Foods was known islandwide for our high-quality raw rice, creating a demand for Rayin Foods products.

Rayin Foods expanded its operations and product list by including rice flour production through the Rayin Agroma company Pvt Ltd.

Rayin Foods flours are a staple in all Sri Lankan households and have a demand abroad for the authenticity and quality of our product range.

In 2018 Rayin moved to spice production with a state-of-the-art production facility to bring premium quality spices to the local and international markets.

Currently, we ship our spices to Australia, Canada, and the Middle East.

We are enthusiastic about producing premium quality food products that are produced with care for the consumer’s satisfaction. We are constantly looking for new products to add to our current range and strive to maintain a reputation as an excellent food production company locally and internationally.

Rayin Foods is made up of three subsidiary companies; Rayin Rice Mill, Rayin Agroma, and Rayin Foods.

Rayin Food

Our spice production facility produces a wide range of export-quality spices, including pepper powder, turmeric powder, curry powder, cumin seeds, fennel seeds, clove seeds, and fenugreek seeds.

Rayin Agroma

Rayin Foods expanded its product range in the rice industry, starting rice flour production in 2011 and since then producing various types of flours.

Rayin Rice

Our skilled farmers grow and harvest our rice, including traditional varieties like Samba, Keeri Samba, and Nadu, using a 100,000kg capacity mill.
