Star Textile Processing Industries
Star Textile Processing Industries is a family-owned company which was established in 1986. Since its inception, Star Textile Processing Industries has been in the forefront of the fabric manufacturing industry in Sri Lanka.
Knitting
Knit fabric is a textile that results from inter-looping(Knitting)yarn together with long needles. Knit fabric falls into two categories: weft knitting and warp knitting.
Weaving
Woven fabric is a textile that results from weaving two sets of yarn together. Looms are used to weave vertical warp threads and horizontal weft threads together to create woven fabric.
Fabric Dyeing
Fabric Dyeing is the application of dyes on textile materials with the goal of achieving the desired colour. At Star Textile Processing Industries, we use two types of dyeing processes.
Finishing
Finishing refers to the processes that convert the woven or knitted cloth into a usable material and more specifically to any process performed after dyeing the fabric to improve the look, performance.
Printing
Printing is the process of adding more colour and life to an excellent product to a much more interesting product. With the In-house printing availability at Star Textile Processing Industries.
